RIFT- Reportable Intensive Family Therapy: 

A four-day single therapist immersion model for complex family matters

RIFT is a single practitioner model of intensive family therapy over four days for complex family dynamics, including where children are resistant to relationships with one parent.

This presentation will involve discussion of why conventional styles of therapy can be ineffective with this population and introducing behavioural parent therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy and exposure and response prevention therapy with children. The session will emphasise keeping both parents involved in children’s lives; rejection of the either/or parent litigation model of dealing with alienation; and emphasis on reportable non-confidential therapy and ongoing case management.
Our Speaker

Dr Jennifer Neoh is a clinical psychologist in private practice in Victoria, Australia. She undertakes Single Expert Witness reports for Family Court of Australia, the Federal Circuit Court of Australia and Family Court of Western Australia. However, her practice has more recently been envolved into providing her immersion RIFT therapy to families all over Australia.
